Positive: Room 710 at Double Tree in Victoria BC. The main bed was quite comfortable, the room was well cleaned. The water pressure and warmth was great! The shampoos etc was acceptable. The view from our room was PHENOMINAL and a BLESSING!
Negative: Wasnt willing to pay $20 for breakfast after the already high reservation cost. Breakfast should be free, it is the cheapest of all meals. The fold out couch was UNUSABLE! Therefore 1/3 of my money should be refunded. Please have the stakeholders come sleep on this and tell me if it is acceptable. I was reduced to sleep with my friend, with both of us we did not sleep well. With memory foam beds there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for spring mattresses in a pull out couch. I know I am short but there is no reason those beds should be that high. Most people are sliding off the bed which will tear up the mattress edge sooner. The first day water bottles should be free to all, I’m more likely to buy a second at a reasonable cost.
Summary: Toss out the couch, put in a Murphy bed with memory foam. Owners need to check their product.

Positive: Great location in town! There was some construction beside the hotel, but we were up relatively early so the noise didn't affect us. Short walk into town, whale watching tours etc. The bed was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Loved the welcome cookie on arrival! Hotel was relatively quiet, with a Starbucks located within the building for anyone that needs a coffee fix first thing in the morning. Great view from the room back to city!
Negative: Only minor thing was not receiving a text when the room was ready - we walked around town and came back to the hotel at 4pm to check in so wasn't a huge issue!
Summary: Great location with comfort!
